| Just a heads up that a company called Quality Care are making calls - suggesting that you are supporting them. Chances are you are not and they are trying to get you to buy advertising with them. Be very careful with these types of calls, they are often from Companies saying they are working wqith some "local" charity or fire / ambulance service which is often just a line to get you into advertising in a diary or calender. As it stands, I belive that by law they only have to produce a very small amount of these items to make things perfectly legal. Just be aware ! |

| "Thanks for this Chris, they called me this morning, had no idea what they were talking about and thought someone else had agreed without my knowledge!!! They are quite clever in the way they do it, I wonder how many will fall for it. Kind regards Isabel" |

| Had one 30 minutes ago Hire Car firm selling space on the side of a calendar, or something. Often it's an old dear selling diary space for the Manchester Police Chief's retirement. Had them for the local fire brigade, the local police chief. All sorts.
How are they doing this, purely a numbers game, cheap calls and scripted sales spiel? Hit as many people as possible and see who falls for it? Is it unsavvy receptionists and large organisations that get targetted?
I'm going to be accidently rude to someone selling space legitimately one day. So I'll make my apologies now to all of the local charities. |
