A series of practical business seminars has been arranged by the Guernsey Training Agency

in association with The Chamber of Commerce and the CGI.

The training is delivered by Kathy Tracey of The Learning Company.

The next seminar will take place on 25th June at St Martin’s Community Centre at 3pm.

Entitled "The Right Way to Discipline Your Staff", it will cover how to deal with your most difficult staff !

This should be of particular interest to supervisors and managers working outside of finance.

I went along to yesterday's Discipline seminar with Kathy Tracey, organised by the GTA, and found it very well presented. It was kept short and to the point with time set aside for sharing ideas with the other people present. It covered all the angles I was expecting, and will prove a useful seminar to have attended.
I will endeavour to go to a couple of others which are coming up soon:
28/6 - Unfair Dismissal
03/7 - Sexual Discrimination
10/7 - Data Protection
18/7 - Creating Teams - recruitment
24/7 - Stress Management
01/8 - Excellence in Customer Care
I presume they all occur between 3 and 5pm at St Martin's Community Centre. They have been organised to try to fit around people's busy schedules.
