| | Interesting. As we are seasonal, and open for six months of the year, the kind people at PRS give us a discount. During our discussions for the 2006 season, late last year, we inadvertently told them that we opened for 27 weeks rather than 26. They therefore removed our 50% discount, and charged me full rate. No negotiation, nothing. I have since removed the music player in our 24 seat bar, and they'll get sod all from me next year. Apparently they represent British artists and therefore we do have to pay if we are playing music. |
