| After what seems to have been a successful seafood festival this year, I am sure that the Good food Guernsey group will face the same problems again next year:-- Trying to secure the pier.
- Local hotels and restaurants unhappy about skimming good trade in a peak time
- The loss of parking spaces upsetting the shops.
So this got me thinking, why dont we hold it somewhere else? It always strikes me that the majority of our events are held within St Peter Port and I am sure this is for all the right reasons but what about the seafood festival, Is a central town location the only option considering the amount of coastline we have. I am sure there is a huge reason for the town site but I would like to hear who thinks what |
