| A few months ago, I was asked by someone why the states did not include camp sites in there occupancy figures, well, it turns out that camp sites decided 18 years ago to not be part of the boarding permit system and therefore were under no obligation to give such information to the states and so they didn’t. After a meeting with C & E this week this was confirmed but they also said that the plan was to ask individual sites if they wished to participate. I would urge all sites to join up to such a scheme as the more data received, the more value it has to individual operators. The ball is firmly in your court. |
