| Document Certification & International Trade Services
Chamber provides a range of export services to members engaged in international trade and can advise on contracts, Incoterms, methods of payment and transport documents.
Chamber will authenticate signatures on commercial documents, transport documents and other official documents. We can arrange for legalisation of documents at foreign embassies and we are authorised to certify European Community Certificates of Origin.
Whether you are a regular exporter or become involved in specific aspects of trade in foreign countries the Chamber office has the latest up-to-date information for every country in the world. We can also assist in preparation of documentation for mandatory import requirements at an overseas destination.
Guernsey Chamber of Commerce is linked closely with the Certification and International Trade Committee (CITC) operated by British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) and sanctioned by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to issue Certificates of Origin.
Chamber staff provide a quality service with training to CITC guidelines. We are able to respond quickly and confidentially to specific questions via a network of BCC export consultants and can provide useful telephone numbers, contacts and websites. We can assist Chamber members in completing necessary export documentation.
