| Hi
My name is Tim Rawles. I am an independant IT consultant and my company's name is Tiara Software Consultants Ltd.
I have over 20 years experience of the IT industry. I worked for Abbey National in the UK before moving to Guernsey 11 years ago.
I joined a local company called Datalink (later called Milvus) which was part of the Blue Diamond Group. I became a director of the company in 2003.
Having assisted with the sale of Milvus to Microgen plc I left the company in 2006 in order to realise a long held ambition to run my own business.
Over the years I have worked in almost all aspects of IT, but am now focussing on delivering Project Management and Software Development services to the local business community. I like to think that my main USP is the ability to communicate with people at all levels - technical and non-technical.
My membership of Chamber and the Council is via the Young Business Group, of which I am currently vice-president. If anyone out there (under 45!) is looking to expand there network of contacts, or just wants to come along to lunch club, go to www.ybg.gg for more info.
